Not to drag it out...

But it's about rain... AGAIN.  I really should find something else to write about.  Obviously, I am not the only one, though.  Here in Doha, the newspaper writers are notorious for being dramatic.  Think I am kidding?  A quote from the paper on which it got a FULL page article titled, "QT(qatar tribune) Spotlight on Rain":

"Rain lashed Doha several time during the day bringing pleasant respite to denizens of the city ... A large number of denizens(what is up with that word??) of Doha have been complaining infection with sore throats due to the vagary of weather... People ran for cover when the sky suddenly opened up in the afternoon and again late in the evening."

But, of course, they had to drag in global warming(eye roll):

"It also played spoilsport for many who had planned to see the impact of Earth Day celebrated world-wide by switching off lights from 8.30 to 9.30 pm to cut on energy use and save the environment from global warming."

So, yes, it IS the main news here.  I am super bored.
